Over A Month Is WAY TOO Long

So much has happened in my sweet babies life since I have last updated this blog. We had Christmas at Bama's, barfing car ride home, moved out of our house, moved into the condo, New Years at the Cabin, visited with Suzie and family, Emily came home and you started Gymnastics. Such a great and stressful month :)

Let me start by updating a few cute things you are into/up to at this stage:
  • Dancey Dance - "Dance in the prance" - You LOVE to dance. You just stomp your feet up and down really fast, but it is definitely meant to be dancing. You do it when you hear music, or if Daddy and I sing Dancey Dance over and over. We LOVE it.
  • Kissies - you love to give them. Mostly to Daddy. One night a couple weeks ago, you woke up in the middle of the night. I put you back in my bed to try and get you to go to sleep. Instead, you kept kissing me on the lips over and over. You were trying to win me over so I would get up....it didn't work this time :)
  • Bath time - you don't love it like you used to. I think Aunt Fer Fer does more scrubbing and less playing with you in there.. and it has turned you off of the bath. We'll keep trying.
  • Speaking of Fer Fer - you are starting to say more and more words. When we were driving home from John and Lori's cabin after New Years, the whole truck was quite for a minute. All of the sudden, out of nowhere, you clearly said "Fer Fer". Jennifer had been trying to get you to say it for weeks. It was so cute, your Aunt Fer Fer started crying.
  • You have a pyramidal perineal prominence. Try to say that three times fast. About a week after Christmas we noticed a weird bump on your behind. I was pretty worried so I made an appointment for you to get into the Dr. Unfortunately, Mommy had to travel to NY for work, so Aunt Fer Fer and Daddy had to take you. It was your first trip without mommy. The Dr. said it was nothing to worry about and wrote down the name of the bump so mommy could google it.
  • Reading books - whether you are reading them to yourself, or having one of us read to you...you LOVE it. Already soooo smart.
  • Fake laughing - you really like to get people going. Sometimes you loudly fake laughing just to get attention.
  • Cell phones and remotes - you are OBSESSED. You are constantly searching for them. The cute thing is, I think you are starting to get what the phone is for. You lay it on your shoulder and I think you are trying to say "hello".
  • Funny faces and noises. YOu are the best little imitator. If we make a funny noise...you can figure out how to do it so quickly. You are doing lots of squinty funny faces. Mostly for the camera (see below)

Christmas we so much fun at Bama's. Everyone LOVED you...big surprise. Aunt Donna loved to put you on her lap and wheel you around her place to show you off. She loved your squeaky shoes. We almost killed Bama leaving the grocery store one night. She didn't have her belt on and I slammed on the breaks to miss another car. Bama hit her head on the windshield and had a HUGE bruise on her arms. Merry Christmas :)

Daddy arrived two-days before Christmas. He drove down so we could bring home some stuff from Bama's storage unit. He took Aunt Donna to get her nails done one day. Daddy got a pedicure too! So sweet of him to take her on a date.

The drive home was not so fun. Right about an hour outside of Vegas...you started puking.. bad. It was out of nowhere. I was driving and Daddy had to turn around and try to keep your head up so you wouldn't choke. We pulled right off the freeway and stripped you down, tried to clean your car seat, and picked you up some crackers and gatoraid. We thought that was the end of it and then about 30 mins later...you did it again. It was so scary. We changed you again. You were so white and clammy it was sad.

The whole rest of the way home you were great. Slept lots and were very sweet. No crying (thank you).

We got home and finished moving. Suzie, Keith, Sammy, Audry and Ben were in Utah. Hooray! You and Ben were so cute together. You loved to push him around in your little car and you guys took a bath together (mommy found out later..bad idea...he needed ear plugs to avoid ear problems..woops). We went to boondock, playing at Keith's parents, and out for lots of food.

We left for a couple days and headed to John and Lolo's cabin. We always have so much fun there. You love to harass the doggies and LOVE playing with Lorri's piano, princesses and barbies up in the playroom. I think they like having you up there too.

Emily and family arrived on Jan 3rd. 2.5 years away was way to long for mommy. I finally have my Emily back! We had 1/2 day play day with Emily and Suzie's family. The boys loved chasing you and Ben around. You guys are a handful.

Although Emily and the kids have been busy getting used to life in Utah, we have been able to hang out a few times. You have been swimming in their outdoor pool and hot tub 2 times. It might have been a bit cold for a baby...but you loved it. Will was holding you in the swimming pool, and you kept patting his back. It was like you were holding him. We all thought it was so cute and you just kept patting him.

Last Thursday morning you started Gymnastics. I think it was LONG overdue because you were kind of the naughty girl in class. You aren't used to hanging out with so many other kids your age. It will be really good for you to learn how to be more social. You were, however, obviously the cutest and smartest in class :) You did lots of running, jumping and climbing on the equipment. You and I will do the class once a week. Can't wait for more fun.

OK, so maybe I will add more later. I don't want to chance not posting this today. Here are a few cute pics (we got a new camera!!! woo hoo).

Love you toooooo much. Mama
