Totally Missed April :)

So obviously April was a busy month because it is 2 days away from June and I am just putting up a post. It is late at night, we just got home from playing games with Emily and the kids over at Ann & Deans. You really love playing with you cousins, mostly Mary. You said her name first :)

So just a quick update for tonight. I just want to have a record of our busy April.

We took two trips, first to Vegas the meet Crista and then off to Orlando with John & Lolo. Both were really fun trips.

Vegas - so we drove from Salt Lake to Vegas. We stopped on the way down in Mesquite where just you and Daddy and I stayed in a hotel. We didn't do much that night, just hung out in the room. The next morning Daddy got up and went golfing. You and I hit the pool and the hot tub. Mostly the hot tub though because the pool was SUPER cold. We also had breakfast together in the all you can eat buffet. It was a fun date.

We left Mesquite around 1 and headed to Vegas. We stayed at the Mirage. It was a really nice hotel. We met up with Crista, her parents, sisters and some friends. What a great crowd. You were a hit. Some of her friends even bought you a blow up pony one night. Everyone pitched in watching you around the pool so mommy had a really fun time.

It was Easter weekend and the Easter Bunny had to find you in Vegas. He sure did. YOu got a new pink Addidas track-suit (for gymnastics), a Magna Doodle (for the car), and tons of candy.

We brought Crista back up to our house for a couple days. She did lots of playing with you while I pretended to work. Hope she comes back soon.

Next was off to Orlando with John & Lolo. What a fun and relaxing time. After the plane ride that is. I'm sorry to say it, but you were a NIGHTMARE. You hadn't napped, and I thought you might on the plane. Nope, you were loud and obnoxious. The worst part was that it was a full 4 hour long flight. Not fun for the lady next to us.

I would have to say the topper of that flight though was your multiple "accidents". First you somehow peed through your diaper and onto my lap. Wet, but not a huge deal. But you had more to come. Because you had peed through you pants, I just had you in your diaper and your shirt. Suddenly I felt more wetness.....not pee this time. Diarrhea all over my pants, all over you, then I picked you up not thinking....Diarrhea all over my shirt. Cleaning you up in the bathroom was a joke.. there was no cleaning you or me. We suffered through ti and were happy to get to Florida.



We had such a great time. We spend most of our time at the pool. Lolo brought you a floaty and you went round and round the lazy river. then you found the big curly slide. you were hooked. Each of us took turns taking you down over and over., You didn't even care if your head went under at the bottom. As soon as you got down you were saying "again, again".

We went to the Disney Water Park one day. You loved the wave pool and were not even scared when you almost got drug under the waves all the time. Lori got you guys matching Tiger tattoos.

We also went to Universal Studios one day. Lori took lots of turns watching you while mommy did the big rides with Daddy and John. Then we hit up the Dr. Susses part of the park. You could ride all the rides and had so much fun. You weren't even scared when you saw the live characters.


So much more went on during this trip. We stayed in a really nice 4 bedroom condo, went out to eat most nights (gained 10 pounds) and I think you gained a few too becuase you love to "dip-dip" everything; sour cream, ranch, guacamole...I need to nip that in the bud for you :) Perhaps I will add more later...It is getting late.

I love you forever, always, more and more every day...if that is even possible. Mama xoxoxo
