So there are so many things that I have missed capturing, I hope to keep adding to this post over the next week so see what I can capture. Here is what you do now:
- You speak in almost full sentences. The other day we were at Home Depot. I bought you some M&Ms. I told you you couldn't have any until we found Daddy. You started looking around that then ...very clearly said "Where did he go". We kept looking and then you say him down an aisle...and shouted out "dare he is". I was shocked. So cute.
- You say your prayers at night. You like to kiss everyone goodnight, then we go to your room, read a couple books and then you get down on your knees to say your prayer. You fold your arms so cute and always say "Amen" at the end.
- When I ask you to tell me you love me, you kiss me instead.
- You love saying "no no dada" becuase he is constantly harassing you.
- You get your own cup or bottle out of your drawer and ask for Melk. You call all drinks Melk.
- You love paying with your princesses, horsies (you call them 'Neighs') and reading books.
- When I put you to bed at night, after we say our prayers, I sing to you. You snuggle me really tight while I sing and then kiss me before I put you down.
- You became OBSESSED with wearing princess jammies. I didn't want to buy you any, but gave in after you borrowed a pair of Sammies and wouldn't stop wearing them...all day.
- You love to "jump-jump" on the trampoline.
- You LOVED the pool. We had a hard time keeping you from climbing the ladder and letting yourself in.
- You are a dare-devil. You will climb up and slide/jump off anything. You are dangerous outside.
- You love paying in the toilet.

You are wearing Mommy's old dress in this picture. We went or a walk..and you didn't make it back awake.
I need to add more, but I started this entry on Oct 3rd...it is a month later. I have two more entries to add. I will add pics to this later.
Love you forever and always. Mama
***Update - so it is now 1/14/11 - I had to put more info on this post. Our trip to Seattle and Vancouver deserved much more than just a one line bullet. I had to put some pics and a trip overview so we would never forget how much fun we had on our trip with Crista.
We headed to Seattle on Sat morning. Crista picked us up at the airport after leaving her house at 5am to drive down to Seattle. What a great friend!
We drove into Seattle where Crista surprised us with a super fancy hotel on the water for the fist night. Since it was too early to check in, we headed down to the waterfront and had a seafood feast (well Daddy & Crista did). We went back to the hotel and hung out there and played games all night.. so fun. In the morning you and Daddy and I went for a swim in the hotel pool.
After a nice big buffet breakfast, we headed off to see the Mariners Baseball game. It turned out to be such a beautiful warm days. So much fun.

After the game we headed to Bremerton on the ferry. You loved taking the ferry and kept running inside and outside on the deck. When we got to Bremerton we checked into our hotel and then went to meet all of Daddy's friends for Chinese food. They were all excited to see how you had grown and Daddy was proud to show you off.
The next morning we had another swim in the hotel pool, and then went over to daddy's friend Matt's parents house to hang out for a bit.
hen it was off to Vancouver - at least for you, Crista and me. Daddy stayed behind in Bremerton to spend time with his friends. We had a fun drive, you were pretty good watching movies and eating snacks and Crista and I got time to catch up. All was going well until we were about 30 minutes from the border...and we ran out of gas. it was raining out and we were on the side of he freeway. There was a gas station on the other side of this chain link fence I just knew Crista could climb. Only one problem though, there was a swampy bog in between us and the fence. Crista is DEATHLY afraid of spiders and other bugs and, though she tried, could not make herself go through to get to the fence. So she ran all the way up the off ramp and to the gas station. Then she came back to the fence and made mommy go through the swamp (it was scary) and get the gas tank. I filled up the tank and drove over to the station to pick up Crista. On the road again.
We got to Crista's place and cooked up some quesadilla's.. i think Crista and I had two avocados worth of quac. You had lots of fun tearing apart Crista's apartment, and she had fun putting you in her laundry basket. You loved it.

We had a fun relaxing time in Vancouver. Crista had to work during the day, but we made the best of it. We went down to the beach and park the first day and then to the aquarium the second. We had a great time seeing all the dolphins, whales and you loved playing in the little kid section and watching a puppet show. It is really fun to have alone Mommy/Daughter time with you.

After the aquarium we picked up Crista from work and then headed back to Seattle. We picked up Daddy and the ferry in Seattle and then headed to the BEST part of our trip. The CABIN. Crista picked out the most beautiful, peaceful spot on earth I swear. We had a cabin right on the water on Vashon Island. We had to take a quick ferry to the island..(you slept on this one). We had to carry our stuff into the cabin via a little wheelbarrow because it was so remote.

We truly enjoyed our time at the cabin. it was so relaxing and fun. We went clam digging, had a big clam bake, ate a TON in general, played lots of games, watched movies, and were just LAZY. The cabin had really cute window seats that we loved to lay on and watch the sun set. We really didn't explore the island that much, but we did drive around and try to go kayaking one day (they were closed) but we didn't care. The most fun part was just spending time as a family.

We had managed to keep the place in tack to avoid out damage deposit the whole time...and at the very last second...crash. You got a hold of a candle on the table. Mommy had to call the owner who was nice enough to let us off the hook without playing.

We were so sad for our time at the cabin to end but excited to get back to Seattle to go to the Seahawks game. That day was also Mommy's 36th Birthday. To be nice to mommy, Daddy offered to let Crista and I go to the game alone and he would take you to a restaurant near by to watch the game. Crista and I had a great time and the Seahawks won!

Then we were off to the airport...so sad to leave...but excited to get home and see Riley. Crista dropped us off and then had to drive all the way home alone. Bet that was a lonely ride...she sure loves spending time with you.
We had one fun thing happen at the airport. While we were waiting in line, Daddy spotted one of the guys from one of Mommy's favorite shows...Josh from the Deadliest Catch. Daddy got up the courage to talk to him adn tell hijm how much we liked his show. Mommy just said.."I am such a big fan" and shook his hand. I felt like a dork...but at least we got to meet him.
So that is the overview...so many other great memories from that trip..but that is all for today. We are so lucky to have Crista in our family, and as your godmother. Great trip!!
